Anjappar Chettinad South Indian Cuisine- 116 Lexington ave, NY

We walked into the dimly lit room.  Mysterious people led us to a cushioned bench and gave us a fat booklet with strange offerings inside.  We were open to anything, as long as we could feast.  We heard more humans talking among the crowd.  As my stomach was growling, several chicken legs were soon in front of me.  They were red as blood and tender as human skin.  Bursts of flavor entered my mouth, and I knew that my mummy and daddy felt the same.  It was delicious, but there was a green slime called mint sauce that was cool and tangy and made it even more delectable.  Then I smelled something extremely spicy.  I tasted a piece of mutton (goat) that immediately set my mouth on fire.  "Curse this wretched sorcery!" I screamed.  But it was so delicious that I kept eating it.  I ate with pieces of white maggots called 'rice' to cool it off.  A bread, naan, was dipped in the spicy sauce.  "These chefs shall pay for burning my mouth!"  The skinny green plants were very intriguing.  I was excited to try my first vegetable, but also scared.  Can they make vampires sick? I decided to take the risk.  It was crunchy and squeaky and salty.  The round human had recommended it to us, and he was correct that it was definitely delicious.  He shall live another day.  I was too full to eat anymore, but my mummy and daddy were still hungry.  A ginormous crab came with pincers that could grab and pierce your delicate skin.  My mummy said it was a nightmare to get to the sweet meat but worth every morsel.  This mysterious restaurant actually turned out to be quite appetizing.  Humans do eat very well.  I had to get vanilla ice cream to cool myself off.  Very sweet and creamy.  If I was to give a rating, I would give Anjappar 4 gallons of blood.  See you next time humans- tdg
