Well, this is definitely the healthiest and most delicious lunch I've had so far-- the restaurant has a beautiful red door leading into an intimate, immaculate farmhouse lunch spot. Instead of having menus, the owner carries a big chalkboard up to us with a few items written on it. My mom, dad and I all ordered the fish of the day (grilled trout) with cous cous and a salad. Sounds simple, yes, but delicious!
The salad was tossed with a balsamic-like dressing, red onions, and pickled red cabbage which was sweet and crunchy. The couscous had lots of yummy flavorful ingredients inside, including dried cranberries and some salty nuts, which mixed together perfectly. The trout was super tender, and was stuffed with prosciutto for saltiness. And the thyme and lemon made the trout more complex in flavor. I love this lunch place! It definitely deserves 4 pineapples! Till next time...
