How do I start this? Ivan Ramen got great reviews. Gotham West Market seems like a cool place, and I liked the vibe. Ivan Ramen looks like a big bar with chefs behind it along with some picnic tables on the side. Simple, but it doesn't really matter. I was excited for their ramen! And wow, did their ramen suck! It was quite possibly the worst bowl of ramen noodles I have ever had in my entire life. It's only better than a styrofoam cup. There were different kinds of broths you could order-- I got the salt chicken broth, which I will admit was okay, but my mom's soy and dad's garlic broth was just eh. The noodles weren't chewy enough, the pork belly was too fatty and bland, the egg was overcooked, and there weren't any other yummy ingredients or additions except slivered scallions! Do they actually think that this is great ramen!? Overall, I hated this lunch. I will never come back here again. Just horrible. Absolutely awful. Now I'm starving. I give it 1 pineapple. Till next time!
