Cafeteria-- 119 7th Avenue, NY

Cafeteria, an old restaurant, but still thriving. When I walked in, it was PACKED. We barely got a seat, and while we were eating there was a line out the door. I started off with a delicious white grape juice, freshly pressed-- amazing.  For our appetizer, my uncle and I ordered the Baja fish tacos. The fish was very tender, and the tortilla was hot and soft. There was a little too much cole slaw though, so too crunchy for my liking.
For my entree, I ordered their famous meatloaf. It had a salsa-like tomato topping, which added a nice sweetness to balance the saltiness of the meatloaf.  The meat itself was a little bit dry, but the creamy, dreamy mashed potatoes and the tasty squeaky strings beans made up for it.  My uncle ordered a big house salad with chopped up flank steak. The steak was way too tough, and the salad was boring. Sum up the whole dish: not so good.
Overall, cafeteria was average and I probably wouldn't come back here. I rate cafeteria 3 pineapples. Till next time!
