The Meatball shop - 84 Stanton, New York City
I came to the meatball shop for a quick, but tasty lunch. They give you a menu where you check off the food you want. The place is small, but full of great smells. I ordered a spicy pork meatball with pesto sauce. It came very quickly and efficiently. I thought they had really great service. When I tasted the meatball, I automatically loved it. It was tender and moist with a little spice. The bread tasted delicious with the flavorful pesto. We also ordered the vegetable special which was green beans with garlic and anchovies in a light tomato sauce. The beans were squeaky, but they had just enough crunch. I really liked it. Mom and Dad both had the Spicy pork meatballs with classic tomato sauce. Hits the spot. I loved the energy and the music. They were cranking Aerosmith and ACDC. Can't go wrong. Overall, I give it 5 pineapples. Woo hoo!- tdg
