Les Halles- Park Avenue 411 Park Avenue South

Bonsoir!  I was really hungry and I wanted fries!  So my family decided to dine at Les Halles!  Les Halles is a french bistro, walls stacked with wine and good energy.  I ordered the Merguez, frites, et salade.  That is a spicy pork sausage with french fries and salad.  The pork sausage was tender and had a little kick.  To give it extra oomph, you could dip it into a nice spicy sauce.  The field salad had a sweet vinegar dressing and the lettuces were fresh.  Now, the fries.  They were irresistible.  The fries came out sizzling hot, they were extra long, had a crispy, salty outside and a fluffy inside.  I dipped them in ketchup and spicy mustard.  They were world-class.  I could eat those anytime!  My dad ordered the Onglet et l'echalote.  It was a delicious hanger steak with shallot sauce.  The steak was juicy and flavorful.  My mom ordered the Confit de Conard.  The tender duck meat melted in your mouth with crispy skin giving a salty flavor.  The truffled potatoes were very decadent.  My mom preferred if the potatoes were on the side, not mixed in with the frisee.  Our waiter was chatty and friendly.  He pretended to be frightened of my skull sweater.  I loved the food at Les Halles and I can't wait to come back for those fries!  Overall, I give Les Halles 5 pineapples!  Till next time- tdg
