Wildwood Barbeque- 225 Park Avenue South, NY
Wildwood barbeque is my favorite place to eat wings, ribs, and get messy! I always order an amazing crush orange soda in a mug, but this time they changed it. Now, they serve an orange creamsical soda in a FROSTED mug! The soda is creamy, sweet and extremely cold. There are tons of choices on the menu, but the specials sound really good. For a starter, my dad orders the tomato and watermelon salad. It is very refreshing and the watermelon is sweet. There are red and yellow watermelons! What a colorful salad. I order the buffalo boneless chicken wings. They are so good! Meaty and crispy. I really like their spicy buffalo sauce. My dad and mom order the pork shank special with green beans and bacon. The pork is very tender with a tangy glaze. It's huge so my mom takes half of it home. My grandma orders the crispy classic southern fried chicken-- tastes exactly how it's described. My grandpa has the full cut BBQ pork spare ribs. They are a little tough and pretty much tasteless. Last time, they were very tender with great BBQ flavor. We shared a side of tater tots, which were crispy. I like to add a touch of their hotter than hot pepper sauce. Overall, I rate Wildwood 3 1/2 pineapples. -tdg
