Belga Queen is a hip spot in Brussels and one of the most modern and best restaurants. The space was previously a huge, cavernous bank. We sat down at a comfy spot with a soft couch and two lounge chairs. The menu was gigantic-- so many delicious foods to choose from!! The place was bustling with people, and the savory smell of food filled the air. For a drink, I ordered a delicious fruit tropical drink-- which came in a cool looking hourglass. It was refreshing and citrusy. I never knew a drink could be so amazingly good! For my entree I ordered the meatballs with beer gravy and frites. I have never eaten a meatball so good. It was so tender, and the gravy gave it a spectacular, rich flavor. Oh, and by the way-- you should ignore ketchup from now on. Gravy is the new ketchup for French fries. Best combo ever. My mom ordered the beef carpaccio. The raw beef was fresh and melt in your mouth tender, and the cheese arugula combo was perfect. My dad ordered a delicious steak with a frisée salad. The steak was so tender and juicy, and the frisée was fresh and tangy. Later, I checked out the bathroom-- so modern!!! The doors are see through for the toilets, so that's a bit disturbing-- but when you lock the doors it becomes opaque! Also, the safe has awesome vaulted that are extremely thick and secure, and there are still some safe boxes left! Overall, I give Belga Queen 5 pineapples. Till next time- tdg
