CottoCrudo(Four seasons hotel)-- Prague, Czech Republic
For our final night in Prague, we decided to eat at our very own hotel, the Four Seasons, where the best Italian restaurant in Prague is located-- CottoCrudo. The restaurant was beautifully decorated with red chandeliers, red glasses, and lavishly decorated tables. I was in the mood for some really good pasta, so I ordered the Fresh Tagliatelle with wild boar. That was probably the best pasta I've had in a while. The tagliatelle was chewy with a delicious, spicy flavor that burned my mouth. I had never eaten wild boar, and for my first try, it gave a very good impression. The boar was in chunks, very tender and coated in a spicy tomato sauce. My dad ate the Roasted venison loin with juniper, pumpkin & Slivovice sauce. The venison was extremely tender and tasted extra good dipped in the pumpkin puree, which was sweet and a bit tangy. My mom enjoyed the linguine with cockles and calamari. The linguine was el dente and all the seafood was prepared perfectly in a garlicky white wine sauce. She also had a side of swiss chard, but it looked and tasted like bok choy. (Odd!) But it was still fabulous. Overall, I give CottoCrudo 5 pineapples. I have to say, this was my favorite restaurant in Prague. Best for last! -tdg
