U Semdi Svabu-- Prague, Czech Republic
Hello there, thy friend! What did thou consume today? I just finished a 41 day quest from Greece! The worst part was that they ran out of horses for me so I had to ride an ox-- he was very obnoxious! Well, I stumble into a large, dark tavern, which seemed to have opened a couple years ago in the 15th century. Ahhh, so I sit down at a strong old table, and I place my mace on the large, heavy piece of wood. My old friends are meeting me here, which is very nice. Torches hang from the walls, and an old dungeon lies below the first floor. What evil doers reside down in that dirty cellar? Do I know them? First, I kindly ask for the Cerbulat Pana Domaciho- which is grilled sausage. It comes with a delicious mustard, and the sausage is tender, juicy, and overall fabulous. My companions arrive and the wizard orders the Babske Ucho, which are sauerkraut stuffed potato pancakes. The golden, crispy pancake gives off an aroma that I wish could stay with me eternally. My other friend, an archer, consumes the Posledni Krme Slavnikovcu, which is a roasted quacking duck with bohemian dumplings and braised red cabbage. (He shot it this morning and gave it to the cook!) I like when you dip the duck in gravy. I did think that the quacker was a bit fatty. Bohemian dumplings turn out just to be made out of potatoes, but it looks and tastes like wonder bread. Nothing special. The cabbages were sour and sweet, but a little overcooked. Overall, thou shall give this dank tavern... 4 ducks. Trala!
