Orlando's Cafe-- Hampton Bays, Long Island

This is a Latin family cafe.  When I looked at the menu and saw the pork enchilada, I thought I might as well.  I hadn't had one for a very long time so I sort of forgot what it was.  I'm very embarrassed.  The restaurant was very basic, and had a uh.... interesting crowd.  I had the fresh fruit juice of the day, which was very refreshing and sweet.  It had big chunks of banana, mango, pineapple, and orange in the drink, some which was frozen in pieces of ice -- so it never got watery.  At the end of the meal, I took a spoon and ate the fruit.  Yum!  Now, my enchilada.  I must say, I would have enjoyed it, but when it comes to sour cream, I make a yucky face-- and there was a lot of it.  I started to eat some of it, but my mom knew I wasn't really enjoying it.  She was having a garlic shrimp platter with rice, tomato salsa and a green hot sauce.  My mom and I switched.  The shrimp was very tender and garlicky.  The rice was so spicy!  I don't know what sauce they mixed it with, but it was hot hot hot!  And it was 95 degrees out!  I was sweating like crazy!  My mom said that the enchilada was okay-- the pork inside was very moist.  It was a big portion, but pretty expensive for a dive.
Overall, I give Orlando's Cafe 3 pineapples.

Till next time-- tdg

P.S.  After lunch, I went to watch Pacific Rim.  It didn't get great reviews, but it was so fun and awesome!  A must see!
