Page-- 63 Main St, Sag Harbor, Long Island
Mexican streak is over. My mom and I were planning to go to the Dock House, but it was so hot in there, that we decided to come to Page, which is air conditioned. I loved the interior-- very New England, with a lot of white clapboard. We sat down at a table next to the window. I ordered the fish and chips, which were AMAZING. They were perfectly fried but not greasy, and more meat than batter. The fish itself was very flaky and tender. Malt vinegar was more delicious than the tartare sauce that came. I also enjoyed the side of cole slaw-- crunchy and very fresh. The fries were just fries. Nothing special about it. My mom had the lobster BLT with a salad. At first, when the waiter brought the dish, half of the sandwich was toppled over and completely messed up. He called it "the fall of the Roman empire." He tried giving it to my mom, but she had them fix it. Lazy waiter. It was very delicious, though. The lobster was perfectly cooked and sweet with not too much mayo. The bun was warm and soft. There just wasn't enough bacon, only little bits. The side salad was very boring-- too boring and dressing was sour. Just a waste of space on a big plate. Overall, I give Page 3.5 pineapples. I'm using decimals from now on.
