Tico- Boston, Massachusetts

Beforehand, I knew that Tico served Latin food, and I knew they served tacos, so, naturally, I was looking forward to that lunch on a rainy afternoon in Boston. We were seated in the bustling mid-section of the restaurant, and we started with the shishito peppers. They were covered in shredded serano peppers and shallots, making for a spicy, zesty, and delicious appetizer. For our entree, we shared four different types of tacos- steak, pork, fish, and chicken. The steak was fairly average, but the pork came with bright-tasting cucumber and was drenched in a spicy chipotle sauce. The fish was slathered in a creamy aioli and accompanied by a crunchy cabbage. The chicken was perfectly crispy and tender. All of the tacos also came with fresh, flavorful corn tortillas- unfortunately, they were on the cold side, so they weren't as enjoyable. Overall, Tico was a very tasty lunch. If I ever return to Boston, I'll know where to stop by. 4 1/2 pineapples. Till next time!
